Mission & Objectives

Our Mission

Our mission is to identify issues of community significance which will impact our region and to bring together specialists, organisations and influencers, with relevant knowledge and experience, to advise on appropriateness of projects, raise public awareness and act accordingly.

We work with government bodies, council, and key stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes that enhance our Southern Highlands lifestyle and the welfare of our community.

Objectives

  1. Interaction with all village and town associations to act as a strong united voice, resolving issues and, through information and engagement, bringing the community together in support of positive developments that will enhance the Highlands.
  2. Hold the council to account including, listening to the community and supporting progressive initiatives which improve the potential of the Highlands.
  3. Work with groups such as Southern Highlands Community Association, WinZero, commercial and business groups, and others, to support projects and developments which are positive for growth of the Highlands.
